Two nights at Lynn Creek Park before the gates open to the public. Run or walk the light show route, wrapped in a mile of tunnels, canopies and a million bulbs, no traffic, no lines.
Chip-timed 5K through the light display. Gates open 4:30 p.m., race begins 6:00 p.m.
Family-paced 3 mile walk. Strollers welcome. Same route, no clock.

The Prairie Lights Sneak A Peek gives runners and walkers exclusive access to the light display at Lynn Creek Park, two full nights before the public drive-through officially opens for the season.
Saturday night is a chip-timed 5K run through the route; Sunday night is a 3 mile family walk at your own pace. Both nights include a commemorative t-shirt, and every registration supports the City of Grand Prairie's Parks, Arts & Recreation programs.
One flat rate, with a discount window in October.

Pick up your bib and shirt ahead of race night.
Three dates the week of the race, Wednesday, November 18 through Friday, November 20, at the Lynn Creek Park Office. Bring a photo ID matching your registration name.
Race-night pickup will be extremely limited due to traffic entering the park. Pick up early to guarantee your t-shirt size.
Everything you need to know before you line up.
- No walk-up registration on race night. Register in advance on Race Roster.
- Strollers welcome on the walk night; no strollers on the timed 5K.
- Leashed dogs allowed on the walk only. No pets on the timed 5K.
Awards go to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each of the 17 age groups listed below. Awards ceremony on stage immediately following the final finisher.

Can I register on race night?+
No. There is no walk-up registration. All registration closes when the last spot on Race Roster is filled or on October 31, whichever comes first.
What is the difference between the two nights?+
Saturday, November 21 is a chip-timed 5K run with awards. Sunday, November 22 is a family-paced 3 mile walk with no clock. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on the walk only.
Can I bring my dog?+
Leashed dogs are welcome on the Sunday walk. Dogs are not permitted on the timed 5K on Saturday.
When and where is packet pickup?+
Packet pickup runs Wednesday, November 18 (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), Thursday, November 19 (11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.), and Friday, November 20 (11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) at the Lynn Creek Park Office, 5610 Lake Ridge Pkwy., Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Bring a photo ID matching your registration name; race-night pickup is extremely limited.
Am I guaranteed a t-shirt in my size?+
Every registrant receives a commemorative t-shirt, but specific sizes are only guaranteed for early registration. Later registrants get the next available size.
Where do the proceeds go?+
Proceeds support the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation department and the ongoing Prairie Lights show at Lynn Creek Park.
